Mining students across the North are being offered greater opportunities to further their education thanks to an agreement between three Northern colleges.
Timmins' Northern College president Michael Hill, Thunder Bay's Confederation College president Patricia Lang and Cambrian College's president Sylvia Barnard all signed a college transfer agreement Friday morning in hopes of addressing the shortage of skilled trade workers affecting the mining sector.
