PA TRAC

I just learned about Pennsylvania’s new PA TRAC website that helps students figure out how college credits will transfer.  Does anyone know when or if Penn State and University of Pittsburgh will be added to the site? The site is www.patrac.org. See the story below.

PA Unveils Credit Transfer System for College Students

Pennsylvania's education department says a new website will make college transfers much easier.

Students can use the Pennsylvania Transfer and Articulation Center (PA TRAC) to search for transferable courses, and get detailed instructions on how to transfer. Thirty two schools are participating, including Mansfield University.

Officials say sometimes students get frustrated when they find out not all of their credits will transfer from one school to another. It forces them to spend more time and money to finish their degrees. The system was created under a 2006 state law establishing a statewide credit transfer system.
