Community Colleges & International Students
I am hearing more and more about international students taking advantage of community colleges in the U.S. They are seen as an affordable gateway to the American dream. How do these colleges market to students abroad? Is there a lot of word of mouth marketing? Are there transfer programs that allow students to transfer their college credits back to universities in their home country?

Re: Community Colleges & International Students
There are several programs that I know of. One is sponsored by the US State Department the other by the American Association of Community Colleges. To find more information visit their websites at: http://www.communitycollegeusa.com/ and http://educationusa.state.gov/. There are also many for profit organizations that help all foreign students identify education programs in the US try a Google search like “study in the US.” Good luck.
