Advanced Placement Questions
When a student takes an AP course then passes the exam how exactly does the course get translated into college credit. Specifically I would like to know what the different policies at schools for accepting these courses for credit. Do all accredited schools have different AP policies? Do you get a transcript from the administrators of the Advanced Placement program?

Re: Advanced Placement Questions

Any high school that is offering AP courses will have this information.  You take the AP exam given by the CollegeBoard in the subject(s) in which you are seeking credit and have the test results sent to the college.  If your score meets their criteria, then you should get the credit, however check with your college for their policies.  You can find more information at www.collegeboard.com.
