There
are two web resources that I would direct you to: first, the NCAA general
website which has information about Sportsmanship and Conduct in their Eligibility
and Recruiting section. Look under the Legislation and Governance tab at http://www.ncaa.org/
I
think if you are appealing the decision of your new school it would be
important to point out if you took part in any kind of remediation like taking
an anger management course, or if you filed a statement of regret or an apology
for your behavior, or did any type of community service. See
the resources below, good luck and stay cool, calm and collected on the field,
court and everywhere for that matter.

NCAA Statement on misconduct by
student-athletes during regular season games
The NCAA is very concerned with any misconduct
by a student-athlete during competition. We are committed to protecting the
safety and welfare of student-athletes through the establishment of playing
rules consistent with the sound traditions of the sport and of such character
as to ensure good sportsmanship and safe participation by the competitors. As
such, specific playing rules have been developed to address misconduct during
competition and are enforced by the game officials.
In the event an act of misconduct is not
detected by the game officials during a regular season game, action may be
taken by the administration at the student-athlete's institution and/or the
conference of which the institution is a member.
The NCAA has authority over misconduct during
championship tournaments. If misconduct occurs during an NCAA championship, the
appropriate NCAA governing sports committee would address the situation.
