Membership

Having your institution be included in www.CollegeTransfer.net can increase your prospective student pool and provide valuable information to students, advisors, faculty and staff. Participation in the www.CollegeTransfer.net portal can help you support admissions, enrollment management, student services, and curriculum management. AcademyOne is the company powering www.CollegeTransfer.net.

Membership is open to institutions of higher education, agencies serving the higher education market, and other related associations and organizations. Organizations rather than individuals are clients of AcademyOne. Each organization has a primary representative who designates participating representatives.

AcademyOne offers the following services and tools:

Transfer Profiles

There are many college and university search websites one can visit.  None focus on transfer like CollegeTransfer.Net.  Institutions can publish a unique Transfer Profile of images, documents and attributes organized for prospective students.  The Transfer Profile highlights transfer programs.  Each Transfer Profile is unqiue.  They describe the educational enivironment from the perspective of a prospective student seeking information on the policies, procedures and data published and supported by the institution using the collegetransfer.net platform of tools.  Students can request for more information and institutions can receive leads directly.

Course Equivalency Management Center

Enables an institution to discover, create, modify and maintain transfer course equivalencies. All decisions on course equivalencies reside with the institution. Course equivalencies are displayed and searchable on the public web site, CollegeTransfer.net, making the information available to students, advisors and other institutions. Students are also able to create equivalency maps based upon course equivalencies.

Equivalency Synchronizer

The Equivalency Synchronizer is an integration tool that can automatically take the course equivalencies that are built using the Course Equivalency Management Center and create, modify or delete course equivalencies stored in your student information system's database. The integration tool can also be set up to take course equivalencies that are stored in your student information system and publish them to the CollegeTransfer.net web site.

Coursework Importer

A secure interface between an institution's Student Information System and AcademyOne that permits students to automatically download their course history using an account that the student creates on the CollegeTransfer.net web site. No identifying student information is included, just course, year/term taken and grade received. The student can share this data with persons that he selects in order to enhance an advising appointment or ask for advice from friends or relatives using his account on CollegeTransfer.net.

Transfer Planning Guide

A secure interface between an institution's operational degree audit system (which must have active transfer articulation tables) and AcademyOne that permits students to create "What If" scenarios for any degree offered at the receiving institution. The student can then share his transfer planning guides using the CollegeTransfer.net web site.

Transfer Agreement Management Center

Enables institutions to publish Transfer (Articulation) Agreements to a searchable database. The database enables an institution to store transfer agreements by degree and major and attach the actual document that contains details of individual agreements. Transfer agreements are displayed and searchable on the public web site, CollegeTransfer.net, making the information available to students, advisors and other institutions.

Transfer Credit Evaluation Service

Facilitate quick evaluation of an incoming student's transfer credits, while at the same time ensuring the consistency of your course equivalency evaluations. Designed to enhance your recruiting efforts in the transfer student sector by providing timely responses to prospective students on courses that will transfer.

Consulting

AcademyOne will provide a comprehensive assessment of your current situation and recommendations of best practices going forward. Custom research and analytics give you the tools to measure progress and success.

Project Management

Overall planning and coordination of a project from inception to completion aimed at meeting the client's requirements and ensuring completion on time, within cost and to the highest standards of quality.

System Integration
