Transfer Scholarships and Financial Aid Higher education is one of the most important and often biggest investments of your life, and it carries privileges long after you've graduated. RU strives to help you and your family become familiar with and navigate the complexities of financial aid. Transfer Application Requirements Minimum GPA: You need to have a minimum cumulative g.p.a. to be considered for admission to Rider as a transfer student. For the education majors, you need to have a minimum cumulative g.p.a. of 2.75. Official Transcripts: Official transcripts from ALL institutions attended.* Your official high school transcript or a copy of your GED. Applicants who have completed 30 credits at the college level need not submit a high school transcript. SAT Scores: Standardized test scores are not required for admission consideration. Letters of Recommendation: Submit two letters of recommendation (preferably one from a professor and one from an employer).
