    File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid. BW's Federal ID Code: 003014. Merit scholarships are based upon a transfer student's cumulative college GPA (taking into account all colleges attended) at the time the student's application is received. Students who do not meet the criteria an academic merit scholarship may still qualify for an award based on a holistic review of their application materials.
  • Tuition and Fees:
    Annual Estimated Cost of Attendance: Full-Time Total Residential $55,980. Part-time students are charged per credit hour. BW has a special tuition reimbursement payment program for working adults who receive tuition benefits from their employer.

Information for Transfer In Students

  • Credit For Life Experience:
    The American Council on Education (ACE) provides credit recommendations for workplace and military training. Official ACE Transcripts and Joint Services Transcripts may be sent to BW for transfer evaluation.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Please submit official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities attended. Your official high school transcript may not always be required, depending on how much college work you have completed and how long ago you graduated from high school.
  • SAT Scores:
    ACT/SAT scores are generally not requested for students who have been out of high school more than a year. If you have not taken math or English in your previous college work and you have strong scores, you may submit them to be used for placement.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Provide one personal or professional recommendation from a professor, employer or someone who is familiar with your goals and abilities as they relate to successfully pursuing a college academic program.
  • Essay:
    While not required, a personal statement will help us get to know you better.
  • Application Fee:
    $0
  • Interview:
    While not required, an admission interview will help us get to know you better.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    If you've earned an associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university, all the credit you've earned with your associate degree will be honored and you may have reduced core requirements.
  • Other Requirements:
    A student conduct form may be required of some applicants. A copy of your resume and/or list of training workshops and seminars may help us get to know you better.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    All college-level courses with a grade of C or better from a regionally accredited college or university will transfer, given that they fall within the academic scope and level of BW's programs. Grades of C- or below do not transfer.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no limit on the number of credits that can transfer from four-year institutions. However, 45 credits must be completed at BW. Most courses have no time limit to qualify for transfer toward a bachelor's degree.
