    Approximately 1,400 undergraduate students from 35 states and 40 nations attend WC. We have a student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1, which means your professors will likely say hi to you in the Dining Hall. Campus groups like the Douglass Cater Society of Junior Fellows and Model UN provide students with access to hands-on learning opportunities.   • WCCC is a non-profit, residential, post-secondary institution supported, in part, by appropriation from the Maine State Legislature. The college is located in Calais, a rural community on the international border between the United States and Canada. The college’s modern classrooms, labs, and residential buildings are situated on a hillside overlooking the St. Croix River Valley at the edge of a 400-acre campus of mature woods and fields. The college currently offers 28 programs of study at the associate degree, diploma and certificate levels.
