  • Butler County Community College (BC3), chartered in 1965, is the first community college in Western Pennsylvania. More than 2,000 credit students are enrolled in one of 53 associate degree or 26 certificate or workplace certificate programs in business, education and behavioral sciences, health care, liberal arts and STEM. An estimated 450 students earn college credits in BC3’s high school programming. Approximately 15,000 people participate annually in noncredit business and industry training and in public safety training, lifelong learning opportunities and professional development courses.
